We made out first trip to Edisto for the season. R1 has been asking for months now to go the beach. She absolutely loves playing in her sand box and loves playing in the beach sand even more. We had a great time digging in the sand, playing with the water in the bucket, feeding the birds, chasing dad, and eating the sand (R2's favorite thing to do).
Riley spent the whole first day digging. She was so good and so quiet - you almost didn't even know she was there. She only talked when she needed more water in her bucket. She is a little scared of the water, but hopefully it won't take long to get her loving that too.
Somehow R2 lived up to her dad's
nickname for her "Mohawk"!! She was too funny. She wanted to play in the sand and walk around just as much as R1 did. The sand never bothered her and she loved trying to walk around in the hard sand. She even stood in the water and once she figured out the waves, she thought that was pretty funny too!

I wanna come to the beach! It looks like you all had a great time! Look at little R2 struttin her stuff, what a doll! Its nice having independently playing tots too isn't it!!
