Reagan's first birthday was a hit! I think everyone that is here was either at the party or has seen pictures so I won't overload with those. After the party was over, let me tell you, Reagan decided she was definitely older and started doing all kinds of things - walking better, saying more words (Arwee -- Harlie), and grunting all the time at everything because she thinks that she "needs" everything.
My sister and her kids have only been here a month, but when I think about them only being here 1 1/2 more months, it just seems like the summer must already be over! The kids are so good together now and really love playing with each other.
We are back down at the beach with them this week so of course it is raining. This summer, everytime I have been down here, it has rained - just seems like that is my luck this year. Today is rained most of the day so we set up Reagan's new sprinkler and let the kids play in the driveway. They were so funny - Dylan liked spraying herself in the mouth, Riley like filling cups, Harlie liked running away, and Reagan just wanted to climb up the stairs. But they had tons of fun.
The highlight of the day was when we were downstairs playing in the pool and sprinkler, Melissa came running down the street. She was in hysterics, crying, panting, and screaming to take cover. While she was out running she saw a funnel cloud. She didn't know what it was doing, but in her crazy state she was sure it was coming right for her!!! The rest of the family was all out at the shops and of course they saw the water spout and stopped at the beach to watch it. It did finally make landfall, but it was off the beach and luckily didn't do any damage. But just like everything else, the storm and the tornado came and went and it's all just a memory. Like all the fun moments of Reagan's first year, all of the fun moments we are having at the beach with my sister, and all of Riley's toddler years, we got pictures of the waterspout to preserve the memories that have "come and gone
