I know I mentioned before that we were going to be following my sister's new blog Mommy Play With Me. Well, we started the other day and are working a day behind her (and maybe not everyday depending on what is going on). We have done 2 games so far:
1. Sand Ball..... I don't like to get dirty and we don't really have any sand around here even if I did and we don't have snow like my sister so we just went outside with some balls, a bucket, and the laundry basket. My sister mentioned that each activity should be about 20 min, but this one only last about 10.....
Riley took her turn and then ran to the swings
Reagan tried a couple times and failed so then decided to dunk it:) Then she head to the door and sat there until we were done.
I tried to get Riley back into by kicking the balls and playing soccer, but that was a no go after about 2 kicks.
It was just too darn cold out there for my kids... which I was thankful for because it was cold for me too:) (a piece of ice taken off of the tub of toys)
2. Gone Fishing..... Riley was super excited when I told her we were going fishing and it was sooooo easy to do since I already had the pole and fish from her birthday party fishing game. I attached the magnets and made a rod for Reagan and we fished. This game lasted longer because even once I was done and cooking dinner, Riley still played and then they played again when Jason got home.
We fished in the pond for a bit
Then Riley got in the "pond" and it became her boat.

Your girls are just too cute! Looks like they LOVED "fishing".
Regan is ready to clean the fish with that apron! Good job Riley - making that basket into a boat!
