Princess Tiana

Our new favorite movie is The Princess And the Frog. Riley knows almost all the words to the movie and she knows every word to every song! We saw a book in Target one day that was Princess Tiana's cookbook. For some reason Riley just HAD to have it. This was even before we saw the movie and she begged and begged me for the cookbook and said she wanted to cook like the princess and the frog. So the Easter Bunny brought her the cookbook. Now, I'm not too sure about this cookbook because it's not what I thought. I thought it would be a kids cookbook with kid recipes, but it is just a cookbook of stuff that Princess Tiana would serve at her restaurant.

The other day we made her Blossom Sandwiches... now these were a hit. Could it have been that they were from the book, that the kids actually made them, or were they just hungry. I'm going with hungry because Riley had 4 waffle for breakfast that day... haha. The kids had fun making the sandwiches and Reagan had the most fun eating them :) We made PB&J and then some with Nutella. Tomorrow Riley is making Gumpy jambalaya and benenes... we'll see how that goes and if she eats it.
